Voices to be Heard...

Democracy works best when everyone has meaningful access to government.  That begins with information, good and useful information.

But, in today's technology and capital intensive marketplace, "We, the People" are often forced into the debate at a disadvantage.  Because information is not really free and not necessarily reliable, people often lack the knowledge to meaningfully participate in our society.

LCG Communications' mission is to give progressive grassroots groups, labor, advocates, and others a competitive edge in the public debate.  Even on a tight budget, we are able to give our clients wide access to the means to develop and change public opinion.

BALCONY Finds True Costs of New York State’s Uninsured

BALCONY, the Business and Labor Coalition of New York, has been tackling our state’s problems with a willingness to hear from both sides of the labor/business divide. BALCONY’s latest initiative, profiled in Crains Health Pulse, was to commission a study from the Fiscal Policy Institute that – for the first time – breaks down New York’s uninsured, county by county, statewide, and estimates just what that is costing us in emergency health care costs. It’s an important study and well worth reading: click here.
